I have been after the AJC since last Dec and had the exact same problem when the Marietta Daily Journal distributed their Thurs advertising sections. I think the AJC just took it over from them.
I have been making complaints since i moved into my Kennesaw house in 2002, it only stops for a few months, if that long, then it is back in the driveway.
Here are 4 blogs I put up last year to showcase the matter.

This is a problem nationwide with other newspapers and you can find this info at:

The AJC continues to let down the community it is supposed to serve. It’s good to see folks like you fighting the good fight. It’s bad enough that the AJC has let journalism go by the wayside, will not hold our politicians accountable, cannot deliver it’s lackluster product, switches to a smaller paper with no interesting content, and let go of hardworking employees with families to feed so the execs could make out like bandits, but they also have to litter our neighborhoods as well.
Clearly I’ve got a bone to pick with the unethical people at Cox and the AJC where ethics should have been a top priority.
Thanks for your work on this blog and a big shout out to the people picketing outside of the Cox headquarters today. We, the citizens of Atlanta, have to demand more from our media. Nobody reads that fish wrap anymore and littering our neighborhoods isn’t going to make anyone start.
The email addresses below are for the AJC, from the Pres/CEO to the newsroom. I have used them all and they are here FYI. Do NOT expect to get a reply, 3 of them will get you automated replies but no human at the AJC will get back to you.
If enough people email then it might have some effect.
BTW: the City of Kennesaw is redoing its trash regulations and Mayor Kennedy and the City Council are working on something that might have some effect on firms like the AJC tossing around this litter. From what was emailed to me they need to go back to the drawing board and try harder, but who knows maybe they will get something put together that has an effect. If you are in Kennesaw you might email Mayor Kennedy or the Council and let them know that we are watching and waiting for them to DO SOMETHING!
Here is the info on AJC Email addresses:

Our neighborhood is really fed up with this, most of us aren’t even AJC subscribers and certainly will never be after all of this.
I’m equally concerned about the new idea of securing this LITTER to our homes, if we don’t want it near our house, what makes them think we want someone “securing” it to our home!!!??? Something has to give here, this is ridiculous.
This would be one less piece of trash from the crub around the house, and I get a lot of it.
I have cancelled my paid subscription because I could not get teh Reach to stop after 7 phone calls in 2 months. THANK YOU for this site and effort!!!!
