Six weeks ago city officials told AJC staff to weigh down the circular bags, but it’s still not being done.

CBS has done a great job in keeping this issue before the public. Readers might want to also consider a BBB complaint. I did one in Dec. last year. Nothing changed, the AJC is still rated as an A+ member.
There have been about 30 other complaints recently about the AJC and 31 complaints isn’t going to be enough to get the BBB to do anything to a dues paying member who joined in 1952. However, if we can get 100 complaints on record then there is just a chance the BBB might do something.
You can find additional info, including the BBB link on my site at: http://www.atlantajournal-constitution.blogspot.com/
For at least the past 3 Thursdays I have been having company at my house courtesy of the AJC. Parked out in front of my home has been a car with driver, from around 8 until as late as 1 pm. Both I (twice) and my across the street neighbor, have called the local police to inquire.
On Friday July 2nd the Kennesaw Chief phoned me at home to explain that the cars were there for the AJC. The story seems to be that they are there on stakeout to make sure the Thursday Evening Edge is NOT delivered to me by their route carriers. You can see photos and text on my blog site.
I am sure my neighbor was relieved to find out that these guys sitting for hours in their cars were not after her children or waiting for her to leave so they could break in. I guess I can put my .45 back in the sock drawer.
I’d love to be a fly on the wall for the various meetings they must have at their AJC HQ when they come up with this stuff.

The link to this article has been on my blog for six months, but the article is still available and the 103 comments are from all around the country and are even more interesting than the article. This advertising trash is a problem nationwide with other newspapers and you can find this info at:

The best way to make it stop has not yet been tried, I have advocated it for months and have seen it mentioned here a few times. This requires an individual or HOA to hire an attorney and ask for a TRO initially, then to get it certified as a ‘class action’. A group is better than an individual as far as costs. Having been involved in 3 civil suits I know that they drag on and on and on, so a HOA is the best bet. Take a look at the linked article and pay attention to the 103 comments!
