Subject: How to Stop REACH Deliveries
Here is how to opt-out of the AJC’s R.E.A.C.H. distribution list.
Step 1: Call (404) 526-9473 or email reachee@ajc.com and provide them your name, telephone number and street address and ask that you permanently be removed from its roadside distribution of R.E.A.C.H. material. Document your interaction with the AJC representative. [name of person spoke with; date/time contacted]
Step 2: If after two weeks you continue to receive such materials, contact Bob Eickhoff , Senior Vice President for Circulation / Production / Technology at the AJC, who can be reached at (404) 526-5011 or beickhoff@ajc.com. Amy Glennon, Vice President, Circulation at the AJC, who can be reached at 404-526-7237 or aglennon@ajc.com. Provide her the same information as given the AJC in Step No. 1. Document your interaction with the AJC representative. (Note: it appears that Bob Eickhoff is no longer with the AJC, based on information displayed in his LinkedIn profile.)
Step 3: Should you discover after following both steps that you still continue to receive such material, please contact your local code enforcement office and submit a formal littering complaint against the AJC.

Please stop throwing your REACH paper on my driveway or in my yard or in the mail box or anywhere on my property. I have called the number above twice and spoke to people who have promised to stop the paper and after 2 months…it’s still in my drive on Sunday morning. Please please please STOP IT!

Dennis, thanks for submitting your reader comment. Just wanted to be sure that you know that this website is not the AJC, right? We’re concerned citizens just like you who are fed up with the AJC littering our neighborhoods, and trying to get the AJC to stop dumping these across Atlanta!
That is just ridiculous that after you’ve called them twice over two months to stop delivery, they are still delivering them.
Suggest you contact the highest level at the AJC to let them know.
Suggest call Bob Eickhoff, Senior Vice President for Circulation / Production / Technology at the AJC, who can be reached at (404) 526-5011. His assistant will likely answer, but perhaps she will put you through. Tell them directly what you think about this – and that you require they do to stop this littering of your yard!

I have called every week for a year and complained about these idiots throwing this trash in my driveway. After all but threatening someone named Willy Lenard, whose supposedly over circulation, I eventually got it stopped. Well this is the 3rd week now and it’s back. I’m wondering if a well-worded cease-and-desist letter, followed by $500 invoices for removal/disposal services would stand up in small claims court. Any lawyers out there?

What a great website.. Thanks for putting it up..I’ve emailed and called to stop this and nothing.. And they wonder why AJC has declined so badly. I’ll be calling the SVP tomorrow I live in Peachtree Station in Ptree Corners and may see what our HOA can do as well
Local neighborhood associations should ban together and file a class action lawsuit to stop AJC from distributing flyers. In addition, calls and reports to Code Enforcement need to filed to stop these distribution. In our neighborhood, we install a sign asking the AJC to discontinue this practice. But, they continue. This need to stop!!!
